Syrian media reported that sites belonging to armed factions loyal to Iran, on the Iraqi-Syrian border, were subjected to unknown airstrikes .
According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, unidentified aircraft carried out airstrikes targeting sites belonging to Iranian-backed factions in the Badia of Mu’ayzilah in the Al-Bukamal area in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor on the Syrian-Iraqi border .
The observatory added, in a statement, that “the nature of these sites is not yet known, and the extent of the losses resulting from the targeting is not yet clear.”
