The University of Mosul has revealed a vital project to adopt clean energy at the university through the use of solar energy.
The scientific assistant to the university president, Munir Salem, said that the project was submitted by the University of Mosul and it was agreed to be implemented with funding from the German Development Agency. He explained that the project will be an important and vital step towards adopting clean energy through solar panels. Salem pointed out that the project will cover the university’s need for 100% of the electrical energy and the surplus will be distributed through the national electricity grid. He noted that it is expected that the project will be referred and the panels will be implemented in an area of 5 acres inside the university building in the coming days.
