On Wednesday, the representative of Nineveh Governorate, Sherwan Al-Dobardani, warned that the current and future situation in Iraq “does not bode well,” as he put it .
Al-Dobardani said, “I do not want to be pessimistic about the current situation, but most indicators indicate that the future does not bode well.” He added, “May God protect Iraq and the Iraqis from all harm and misfortune .”
This comes in light of Western reports that Iraq is heading towards a scenario similar to what Lebanon and Syria witnessed, as part of a plan to establish a new Middle East in the region, which began after the events of October 7, and has not ended yet.
