The Central Iraqi Cycling Federation continues to hold the competitions of the third stage of the Iraq Club League, which is hosted by Dohuk Governorate, with wide participation from the clubs of the center, the south, the north, and the Middle Euphrates .
Said Sajid Salim, Director of the Media Office of the Bicycle Federation “The tournament witnessed wide participation by players of both genders, as the Duhok Sports Club Hall hosted, on the eighth of this month, the technical conference for the tournament, followed by the start of the races for the women’s and young women’s categories and the junior category for a distance of 40 kilometers .
As for the second day, competitions took place for the applicant category for a distance of 80 kilometers and for the youth category for a distance of 100 kilometres . The first place for the applicants was won by the Koya Club team from Erbil, the Al-Sinaa Club team came in second place, and the Popular Mobilization Club team came in third place. As for the youth, Al-Hadbaa Club from Nineveh Governorate ranked first and second, and the Nasiriyah Club team came in third place .”
Salim continued, “The competitions of the advanced category for the general individual race will conclude today with a distance of 120 kilometers, and then the youth category race, which will cover a distance of 60 kilometers and determine the champion of the third stage, with the fourth stage competitions being held in Erbil Governorate .”
