The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research decided to postpone the start date of the new academic year 2024-2025 for students of public and private universities and colleges until Monday, the 16th of next September.
The directive stated that the start of the next academic year will be on Monday, the sixteenth of next September, instead of the tenth of the same month, in order to ensure that the Ministry of Education’s examinations (second round) do not overlap with university students’ work hours, provided that the period (the week) is compensated by Working hours on Saturdays.
