Member of the Parliamentary Finance Committee, Ikhlas Al-Dulaimi, confirmed that the problem of delaying funding salaries for employees and workers in the public sector concerns all Iraqi governorates and is not limited to the Kurdistan region only due to the lack of financial liquidity.
Al-Dulaimi stated, “The salary problem concerns all Iraqi governorates, and is not limited to the Kurdistan region only, because there is a scarcity of financial liquidity.”
She added that in less than a week, the salaries of all federal governorates, including the region, will be funded, while she expected the problem of delaying funding salaries to end next month.
