A source in Nineveh Police reported that a local police force arrested a person for opening fire during a wedding procession in the Al-Muhandisin neighborhood on the left side of Mosul .
The source explained that “the police chased the convoy as it passed through the area after hearing the gunfire, and that a verbal altercation broke out between the two parties before he was arrested .”
