Mosul Time Radio / Head of the Popular Mobilization Forces, Faleh Al-Fayyad, held a meeting with the crowds in Nineveh to review the security situation in the governorate, while providing support for the completion of the reconstruction of the Prophet Yunus Mosque, which is being built at the expense of benefactors in Mosul. The visit comes ahead of a similar visit by a delegation from the Ministry of Interior in preparation for the handover. The security file is referred to the local police Al-Fayyad’s media office informed Mosul Time Radio that the head of the Popular Mobilization Forces, Faleh Al-Fayyad, has been in Mosul for three days to review the security reality in the governorate within the crowd sectors and to strengthen security coordination with other security services in the governorate. Nineveh Governorate announced last week that Nineveh Governor Abdul Qadir al-Dakhil received a delegation from the Ministry of Interior and discussed with them the preparations made to take over the security file.Al-Fayyad’s office added that the head of the Popular Mobilization Forces “visited the mosque and shrine of the Prophet Yunus (peace be upon him) and provided his direct support sufficient to ensure contribution with the people in the reconstruction of the Noble Shrine so that it returns to the forefront of civilization again.” The head of the Charitable Society, Saadallah Tawfiq, who is supervising the reconstruction of the Prophet Yunus Mosque, said that the completion rate approached 60% at the expense of benefactors.
