Al-Nujaifi confirms that Mosul has recently turned into a market for trading parliamentary seats for Shiite and Sunni blocs from outside the province.

Former Nineveh Governor Atheel Al-Nujaifi confirmed that Nineveh has turned in recent years into a market for trading parliamentary seats .

Al-Nujaifi said in a statement to the Mosul Talk program broadcast by Mosul Time Radio that the Shiite or Sunni political blocs have turned Nineveh in recent years into a market for obtaining the parliamentary seats it lacks .

He pointed out that Mosul and Sunni cities in general have become outside the Iraqi political equation, while in recent years Mosul was an insurmountable number and its political importance was equal to Baghdad, Najaf and Erbil.
