Nineveh Police announced yesterday , Sunday, the recovery of an amount worth 55 million Iraqi dinars, gold jewelry, and the arrest of those accused of stealing it in the right side of Mosul .

A police source said “The Umm Al-Rabi’een Police Directorate and the Anti-Crime Department arrested two suspects in the Al-Zanjali area in the right side of Mosul, less than 6 hours after they committed the theft .”

The source explained that “the accused stole an amount of 55 million Iraqi dinars and gold jewelry from a house in the area, and the police were able to return all the stolen items .”

The source pointed out that “the police presented the accused and the investigation papers to the Iraqi judiciary in Mosul, and they were arrested to complete the investigation.”
