The Ministry of Construction, Housing and Public Municipalities announced the study of 3 investment opportunities within the new residential cities .
The ministry said in a statement that “Minister of Construction, Housing and Public Municipalities, Benkin Rikani, chaired a meeting of the team tasked with the new residential cities at the ministry’s headquarters yesterday , Wednesday,” indicating that “the meeting discussed new investment opportunities for two residential cities in Nahrawan, and the residential city of Baiji in Salah al-Din Governorate. The current work of the company implementing the new Ali al-Wardi residential city in Baghdad was also discussed, which is represented in conducting surveys and soil investigations in preparation for laying the foundation stone .”
He added, “The meeting also discussed deciding on the development road and railway paths for the city of Al-Jawahiri in Baghdad, in addition to discussing the latest procedures related to the cities of Al-Ghazlani in Nineveh, Al-Dhafaf in the holy Karbala, Al-Janain in Babylon, Al-Nakhil in Basra and Al-Salam in the holy Najaf.”
