Nineveh Governor Abdul Qader Al-Dakhil ordered the ban on the entry of tuk-tuks into the province.
Al-Dakhil sent an official letter to the relevant security and administrative authorities, which included a ban on allowing tuk-tuks into the governorate due to their lack of safety and security systems, causing traffic accidents, and distorting the civilized image of the city.
The capital, Baghdad, suffers from dozens of motorcycles known as tuk-tuks, which cause dozens of traffic and criminal accidents daily, in addition to distorting the civilized appearance of cities.
