MOSUL TIME RAIDO
Nineveh Provincial Council announced the move to allocate a temporary square for the delegation of pilgrims to the holy places.
The head of the Endowments Committee in the Nineveh Council said that the committee will work to select a temporary area to end the problem of the Umrah pilgrims’ grouping and the congestion and problems it causes. She explained that the council will discuss with the Hajj and Umrah Department, transportation and security services the allocation of a permanent location to be a starting point for Umrah pilgrims from the city of Mosul.
The convoys of pilgrims in the city of Mosul cause huge traffic jams due to poor organization and the police’s tendency to receive and deter pilgrims in front of their companies’ headquarters in the residential neighborhoods of Mosul.
