The representative of Nineveh Governorate, Abdul Rahim Al-Shammari, warned of the dangers of supplying the Peshmerga forces with artillery weapons .
Al-Shammari said that the Peshmerga forces are not subject to the authority of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, and the evidence for that is their clash with the Iraqi army forces in 2017.
He pointed out that supplying the Peshmerga with heavy artillery poses a threat to the security of Nineveh and Kirkuk.
