An engineer in the Mosul Municipality died and 3 employees were injured in a traffic accident on the Karbala-Najaf road while performing their duties during the Arba’een visit to Imam Hussein.
A source in the municipality said that the engineer, who was called the martyr of Mosul during the fortieth visit, died, and 3 other municipal employees were injured in the accident that occurred with a truck while they were participating in the service effort sent from the Mosul municipality to Karbala.
The burial ceremony of the body of the deceased engineer witnessed a large official and popular presence, as the Governor of Nineveh, Abdul Qadir al – Dakhil, and his deputy, Omar Namiq al-Mawla, participated in the funeral.
