The Directorate of Military Intelligence in the Ministry of Defense announced on Friday 9 terrorist elements were arrested in Baghdad, Anbar, Kirkuk and Nineveh .
The Directorate stated in a statement, “During separate operations based on accurate intelligence information, nine terrorists wanted by the Iraqi judiciary were arrested in accordance with the provisions of Article Four of the Anti-Terrorism Law .”
She added, “The terrorists were arrested in various areas of Baghdad, Anbar, Kirkuk, and Nineveh governorates . “
She indicated that “the terrorists were working and belonging to ISIS terrorist gangs in its various ranks , and that they were handed over to the requesting authorities on the ground and fundamentally .”
